Welcome to our New online imaging center. Jack's is excited to present our streamlined system to you. We have added some new print sizes and paper choices to provide prints that will stand the test of time.
We have been using Fuji Crystal Archive paper made in Greenwood South Carolina since Kodak moved manufacturing to China. We offer a paper referred to as "Luster". It has a slight texture making it a great choice for people not wanting a glossy print. This is our standard photographic paper surface. Yes we still offer a "Glossy" print if that is your choice. When looking in all the different category tabs except "Canvas" and "Largest Prints" during check out, you will be offered Luster as the default paper choice. You can opt to have your order printed on glossy paper.
"Pearl" paper contains a very special component: pearly mica crystals. Based on the natural mica, they are covered with a thin layer of metal oxides, for example, titanium dioxide. Through an interplay of transparency, refraction, coating and multiple reflections, one can discern silver-white and metallic reflection effects. These lend pictures such an intense warmth and depth; they become a true sensation for the eye. This "Pearl" Paper Photographs tab list prints from wallet size through the long 12x36" panoramic size.
"Square / Instagram" tab lists square prints from 4x4 - 12x12 and one unique print for square images that mimics the "Polaroid" print that will make you want to shake it like a Polaroid picture.
Panoramic Photographs list different sizes and aspect ratios to print your sweeping images. Special care is taken to print all of the image. This may leave some of the print with white on the edges if the image is not a perfect fit to the print size. You will be presented with an option on check out to have us crop the image which may remove or "Crop" part of your image to fill the entire print.
Our old LifePics system is no longer used for ordering through Jack's but your images are still there for now if you
